Self Love : No one in the world can give you love than yourself

No one in the world can give you complete love than yourself...

We often forget about ourselves when we are surrounded by the ones we love the most. Sometimes we tend to put our self-responsibilities in the hands of our church, parents, partners, friends and children. When we give someone our self-responsibilities to carry out, expectations are born, as we expect them to fulfill what can be only fulfilled by ourselves.

Why do we seek love, if we can have it without buying or putting any effort? Simple, it’s because we don’t love ourselves enough. We forget that there’s nothing outside of us that can fulfill what is inside us. Self-love is one of the most important self-responsibilities that enables us to feed ourselves with love.

What is self-love?

Self-love is about loving yourself, making yourself worthy and happy, giving yourself the validation you need, and taking pride in your performance and achievements. Self-love is an honest and authentic appreciation for the self.

Self-love

If we are completely in love with ourselves, people around us get a complete manual on how to love and respect us. We don’t settle for less, because we have complete knowledge of what we deserve. We take good care of our needs, and, we don’t sacrifice our wellbeing to please people. In that said we are strong emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

 Five key self-love practice tips...

.1. Meditation

Meditation is a spiritual practice that allows you to clear your mind and conscience of negative thoughts and emotions respectively and allows us to connect with our inner-selves on a deeper level.

2. Remind yourself of what you’re good at.

When we are in our lows it's easy to forget what we are good at. We lack the confidence to take on anything.

But the reality is that life goes on, and we won’t stay in our lows forever.

Reminding yourself of your true potential is very helpful to start loving yourself.

3. Be your own best friend.

Don’t be mean to yourself. Take the care you give your best friends, apply it to yourself. The one who needs to be at best for his is neither than yourself. Treat yourself well.

4. Affirmations

Affirmations can sometimes be real or fake, if not, hard to do. How often and realistically do you say “I love my self”? If you are not used to this, then you need to start doing it.

5. Spend quality time with yourself.

“This is one of the best ways to cultivate self-love”. Enjoying your alone time means you enjoy being with yourself. It’s the only time that you can feed yourself with positive thoughts, set your goals, and improve yourself mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

In conclusion, we attract and become what we feed our minds. If we feed ourselves love, automatically, we will become the people who are full of love, in this world that is full of hate, lies, deceit, racism, corruption and sexism. Wherever we go, we will attract and find love because, we know that no one in the world can give us love than ourselves.
