We all are living in the 21st
century, where self-awareness has become our responsibility. Being aware of the
outside world is much easier than being aware of what is going on inside us. We
are always aware about politics, traffic, Work, school, relationships etc. but what
about our actions, decisions, habits, thoughts and emotions?
What is Self-Awareness?
Self-Awareness is often defined as “having a clear understanding of your personality, including strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, behavior, beliefs and emotions”. Self-Awareness allows us to evaluate why are we feeling sad, jealous, insecure and resentful, or, ardent, fulfilled, happy and comfortable.
